The Northern California Nisei Bowling Federation consists
of the 13 recognized associations displayed on the map (right). Each
association consists of one or more bowling leagues where the majority
of the bowlers are of Japanese descent. The purpose of the Federation
is to unite these leagues and/or associations for the purpose of developing
a spirit of good fellowship, recognition of outstanding achievement
of its members and retain the spirit and heritage of Japanese ancestry.
Six of the associations organize and run a tournament which is either
open to all members of the Federation or open to all Nisei league bowlers
(requirements vary from tournament to tournament).
At these tournaments,
the members can gather, compete on the lanes, rekindle old friendships
and start new ones.The idea behind this website is to provide the members with
a centralized source for tournament information, which includes entry
forms and results, general news and information about the Federation.

Purpose
of the NCNBF...
- Provide a uniform method of identifying
membership and keep track of members in good standing to protect
the integrity of our organization.
- Act as a central hub for the sharing of
information. We distribute tournament entry forms to each of
the 13 member associations and post them to this website.
- Help maintain an even playing field at the
association tournaments based upon recent tournament performance.
Readjustment recommendations are sent to the tournament chairperson
prior to the start of their tournament.
- An umbrella organization that meets at least
twice a year to serve the interest of its membership.
